Just to add to it that I am clear on exporting data to csv from sql using ssis.. only problem I am facing is about handling the multiple tabs/ worksheets for csv. Any help, anyone?

A csv file cannot have multiple sheets - you can open a csv file in excel and add sheets to it but then you have to save as an excel file NOT csv. For your scenario if you want to create report with multiple sheets you will need to have Excel destination.
