Dear friends,
I have downloaded an evaluation version of Erwin Data modeller 4.1.4.3643 and installed it to SQL 2000 standard edn on WIN 2k server.
when i try to use erwin it shows me modelmart connection manager(windows authentication/standard authentication, host dbms,dbms connection and master database. i don't anything about this modelmart db.
when i try giving the values of server, db etc of local machine it gives error
my aim is use this ERWIN against pubs/Northwind and to learn data modelling. what shall I do.kindly help

I think you need to set a new connection. Then enter the values for server, db, etc.
I had an older version of Erwin and I don't remember this being that hard, but it didn't have NT Auth.

What happens if you close this connection manager?
I evaluatated an earlier version and it was annoying but after I closed it (and ignored it) the application was great.
