I found an article (Microsoft I believe) that indicates you must do that task using T-SQL as the 2005 Mgmt Studio isn't capable of doing that - the 2005 instance has SP3 and is able to perform other admin tasks. I also ran across an article that suggests you can install the 2008 Mgmt Studio and make it work. The T-SQL approach looks pretty imposing so I'm reluctant to undertake that. Can anyone confirm that you can install 2008 Mgmt Studio and work with a 2005 instance, and is it legal from a licensing perspective if you can?
