Hi Friends,
Please let us know , I have two logins , Login 'A' with some database user permission , i wanted to create new login with same model as 'A' but with different name , how we can achieve this?

Either put the two logins in the same Windows group, or if they're SQL logins, use roles within the databases to assign permissions. This won't help you with the problem you have now, but if you adopt it as a general principle, it'll make administering permissions easier in the future.

My criteria is to transfer all database level permissions from login 'A' to login 'B' in the same server.

B should be exactly mirror as A

Easiest :-

Create a group and give required permission.

Add users A,B..............................Z to this group.

Easy to manage, Easy to configure security, easy to remove.

exactly...when UserA or UserB get fired or move on, and you need to add UserC, then you simply add UserC to the Role.

Permissions at the user level should be avoided...i'd venture to say never be assigned...ever.
