Does Foglight account needs to have full SA rights? IF not, what is the lowest neccessary permissions it can have?

I don't think 'sa' is mandatory for Foglight account. You may want to check with DELL or Foglight Documentation to make sure.

Well I was fairly convinced it would need sysadmin but apparently not:
The reason I thought sysadmin was needed is because there are some useful commands that require it. For example DBCC LOGINFO, to get the number of virtual log files for a database. I guess Foglight doesn't check for that.
