In windows server my user id: testname is giving error message every 3 secs.
I am the dba and loging as sa and I am using SQL authentication, still my userid:testname is giving error.
As soon as I close Enterprice Manager in my local machine it goes away.
Again, I am logging to Enterprice manager as sa.
Thanks
Nita

I don't think this is the error, is the color of the dot on the message blue? This looks like informational. Do you use Terminal Services?

It is OK. Check the polling interval in your Enterprise manager under Tools / Options. You will see that it is every 3 or 4 sec by default. I changed mine to 10 sec. Every 4 sec EM will connect to all registered servers and you may see connection records in Security and in your case System logs. Even if you don't have registered servers highlighed. Tell the server administrator " yah, there are records from my EM, so what..."

I want to add: in your Terminal Services client when making a connection in the box with the server name click Advanced. Go to Local Resorces tab. Uncheck Printers, re-connect to the server. See what happens. I can not see how Enterprise Manager connection may be related to mapping back printers in Terminal Services connection, but try anyway.
