User DB ended up in the drop down list of "System Databases" in SSMS

  Hello gents

  Has anyone here ever saw this behavior?

  I recently took over a server with the title-mentioned behavior for one of the user DB's.

  You can see it haning around in the drop down list for "System Databases" from SQL Server Management Studio. Sorry that I don't have a screen shot cause it was located remotely in another LAN.

  Any ideas why this is?

  One possibility

  Using SSMS

  1. Right clicked on System Databases

  2. Selected the Restore option

  And then entered the information for a user DB

  Now I have not tested the above, not wanting to wind up in the same situation you are in ... but look at the above it may have been what happened

  If everything seems to be going well, you have obviously overlooked something.
