  Hello everybody

   

  Dou you recommend the use of the sentece GOTO in a store procedure?

  In my case, seems to be the best way to do something, but I don't know if it is a good practice!!

  Can you please provide what it is you are trying to accomplish?  I think that we may be able to come up with a different solution then GOTO.  AFAIK in general the use of GOTO is not a good thing (not meaning it can't be done or done with good cause)....

  AFAIK? New one on me Arthur.....

  As far as I am aware, the use of GoTo is to be frowned upon in 99% of circumstances except for error handling.

  Normally it can be avoided reasonably easily.

  If you post your code, i'm sure someone in here will point you in the right direction - they are good like that........
