Hi, I was about to run the profiler on my test server to check for the slow running queries, and monitoring purpose. But not sure which coloumns I need to check in them.
Can some one suggest me or give a step by step procedure how to use profiler to analyse the performace. This would be of great help !

why not use one of the built in templates. checl BOL for the template details

Profiler helps to identify and watch sql server performance, it acts like a watch dog, that monitors the sql server, but be careful as running profiler degrades and slows the performace of the server
