Use of partition Functions

  • Hi,

Im preparing for my MCTS. Have no idea on what Partition functions are? Can someone help? 🙂

  • i think a quick google and read would be more beneficial to you than a brief forum post; once you've read up on the subject a little bit, if you have any questions to clarify what you read, i think we could help; not fair to ask us to condense it into something you may or may not understand without a bit of research on your part first.

--help us help you! If you post a question, make sure you include a CREATE TABLE... statement and INSERT INTO... statement into that table to give the volunteers here representative data. with your description of the problem, we can provide a tested, verifiable solution to your question! asking the question the right way gets you a tested answer the fastest way possible!

There's also a lot of material in Books Online. If you're studying, that should be the first place you look for anything you're not familiar with.
