Use of Mapping Tables

    While creating many-to-many relation ship why the peoples are always preferring mapping table. :exclamation: for example: table namely called course and course_module. for giving relation this we are having a mapping table called course_module_mapping :D. any one could explain what is the use of this course_module.:hehe:

    To avoid redundancy in the tables. In the ex:- you have mentioned course & course_module tables.
