Usage of Global Variables in SSIS question....

     I am not able to use the Variables for assigning to ServerNames & Userids/ Passwords to the SSIS packages, where in DTS packages ( sql server 2000) i use to use Global Variables. Any help on this will be appreciated & thanking in advance.

    You can define variables in SSIS packages and use them in expressions in source and destination connections.

    Here's a link to a post I made on Tek-Tips about this issue.  It regards switching .ini files to the Global Variables in SSIS.  I hope it helps.  If not, let me know.
