Hi,
the usage-based aggregation optimization wizard does not seem to offer a way to configure the source of the log it uses for optimization. I am using QueryLog and I have configured it to write to a file instead of a log table. I have done this simply because there is no database in our project where I could write the data to, and I have access to a share on the server where I store the file.
Anyway, does anyone know how to tell the aggregation wizard to read the query information from this file? Also, in general, where does the wizard get the information about the connection string from if I used a log table?
Any help is very much apprecitated!

Analysis services? Are you designing cube optimisations?

Sorry, yes, I am using Analysis Services 2005 and Visual Studio 2005. I want to design cube aggregations with the usage-based optimization wizard.
