URL truncate when sending it from main report to sub report

  • I have to pass a URL From main to SUb report, it works fine when the URL is less then 2000 characters but if it's more then that it's truncating the URL

So is there any work around , in the URL what am sending is list of Customer Id's created in the main report based on the Parameters

can i create any tables which will store the session customer id's based on the execution of the parameters in the main report and delete it after the session is closed

trying to pass the customer id's created in the main report to the sub report and it's through the URL

  • One thought I have is that you could store the required information in a database table along with a unique reference (e.g. a guid) then pass the unique reference back to the main report , which in turn passes it on to the child report

    OR

pass the required parameters to the child for it to determine the list itself?
