urgrade wizard failure 6.5 to 2k

    I am using the upgrade wizard to migrate from 6.5 to 2k. When it attempts to Export Logins it fails with

    'LOGINSID: Unable to query Domain controller'

    Has anyone any idea as to why it may be failing here?

    Sure, ask your network admin for the security logs on the domain controller they will be able to tell you what login was trying to query it at this particular time. You probably login as a local administrator and the SQL server is running on the LocalSystem account, they both don't have rights to query the domain controller. I also think that you probably have Windows authentication for SQL users. Are you sure that domain where those users are is accessible from the new box?
