  Hi.

  I need to pass some information I have on ASCII files to tables of SQL Server 2000.Files are of benchmark APB-1 R2, and have static format of fields (lenght and name of fields).

  Could someone help me to be able to load the SQL Server tables to proceed with the benchmark?

  Investigate using DTS (You could also use the bulk insert TSQL command or the BCP command line utility).

  Breifly in DTS you would need 2 connections (file and database) then a data transformation task you pump the data across.
