Urgent need help on synchronize question!!!!

    I have a primary server (64 bit) with SQL 05 64 bit version installed. And a secondary server (32 bit) with SQL 05 32 bit version installed.

    Question:

    Is it possible the secondary server is being synchronized by “Log shipping” or "Mirroring" method from primary server which whenever the primary server encounter problem. That means synchronized from a 64 bit server to a 32 bit server. Anyone done this before?

    Log shipping should work without a problem, although mirroring probably will generate some difficulty. I haven't done either, although given the way log shipping works ( a log backup copied to a central file share to be restored), it should make no difference whether it is 32 or 64 bit.

    I wouldn't explore mirroring, my gut tells me that land mines lay ahead...
