URGENT HELP -- log_reuse_wait_desc : Open transaction

  I changed the File location on one of my SQL 2008R2 Server

  But for some reason i was keep getting the Transaction error and I revered all my changes

  But still receiving same error

  transaction log is FULL, check log_reuse_wait_desc, but my transaction log is not full it's only 5MB and have plenty of space on SAN drive,

  log_reuse_wait_desc says :

  log_reuse_wait_desc : Open active transactions

  I don't see any open connections, locks, blocks nothing, i need to resolve this ASAP

  Please tell me the best and fast solution

  Just to update you all that

  log_reuse_wait_desc command status is changed to "NOTHING" now

  But still receiving error of Transaction full and check with log_reuse_wait_desc command for more info

  Please HELP

  I also checked any open transactions with DBCC opentran and but there are nothing open at this time

  Team, I resolved the issue

  Combination of few things fix the issue for me

  Backuplog few times and changing the owner ship helped

  Plus restarting the SQL services
