Hi Guys:
I have upsized access 2003 database to SQL server 2005. I still kept access as my front end...after upsize, i observed that tables along with data has been upsized and application is also working as expected..But only issue is reports/queries were not upsized and hence none of the reports are working in access application.
Please let me know if am missing anything..quick response highly appreciated..

I have upsized the access 2003 to ADP (upsized the db to SQL Server 2005). application and reports working as expected.
But now, am unable to set security in ADP file as all the options under Tools > security are disabled. these securities were working fine before upzing to ADP, but now the security part not working..

Hi...
After migrating to SQL. MS Access cannot control the table objects security - You must control it in SQL Database using SQL manager.
However on the other hand. You should still be able to control the users security in terms of the forms, query, reports or anything local to MS Access. Your reports, forms should still continue to work as expected - just make sure that all the tables link from your SQL Database are of the same name as previously assigned.
Thank you.... Hope this helps...
