Hi guys,
I have question,can I upgrade from SQL SERVER 2005 Standard Edition(64bit) SP2 to SQL SERVER 2008 Standard RTM edition?I would appreciate if someone help me on this question.

Do you mean in terms of licensing or in terms of physically can it be done? If the latter, yeah. You're talking Standard edition to Standard Edition. It shouldn't be a problem.

Two physical instances on one server are to be upgrade to 2008 by inplace upgrade.
Will it upgrade both the instance automatically when upgrade option selected.

I have not personally done an upgrade in that fashion. Based on my understanding of how it works, yes, but that's from reading documentation. If you want to be absolutely positive, you should get another opinion.
