Hello,
I noticed that SQL Server 2005 SP3 is not in the in the supported version to be upgraded to SQL Server 2008 R2 as shown in the link below. Please let me know if there any issues with in place upgrade.

Which link is that?
Why would you upgrade only to 2008, when there are ~ 10 years' worth of better features and performance in the latest versions of SQL Server?
