Hello
Has anyone susuccessfully upgraded from a SQL Express 2005 (SSEE) to a SQL Server 2005 Evaluation version? Yes I know Evalation is time limited to 180 days but I want to evaluation the things that do not come with SSEE before looking at a full license. (then I may have to 'degrade' back to SSEE)
I have tried installing over SSEE (from commandline as i need SKUUPGRADE=1) and selected everything but the installer tells me there is a newer version already installed and does nothing.
Ideas please.
Failing that is there a easy way to COMPLETELY uninstall SSEE that leaves no traces. ZIP, nothing etc particularly in the registry (which is always the hoodoo)
Regards

Thank you for your reply.
It is infuriating as the SQL Server Evaluation Edition pages does not make this clear.
Have found another way thanks to Virtual PC.
