I have been looking around and have not found what I am looking for. I did a restore from 2000 to 2008R2 and all went well. Now, how do I handle the DTS that are on my 2000 DB? Please be specific, new to 2008R2. Is there anything else that I should be aware of?
TIA
Jim

here's a link on the migration. Read on down and you'll find a piece on the DTS->SSIS migration wizard. That's probably what you want.

Thank you for your quick reply. After installing Business Intelligence Development Studio, I try to launch the DTS Package Migration Wizard. I now get an error stating that I need to install the DTS run-time. When I do this, I get installation failed from non supported OS. I have SQL 2008R2 on a Server 2008 box. What am I missing?
TIA,
Jim

Also, although I have not tried it yet, I hear a lot of people happy with a DTS to SSIS conversion tool from Pragmatic Works. http://pragmaticworks.com/Products/Business-Intelligence/DTSxChange/Default.aspx

True, DTSxCHange is the best tool out there to migrate your DTS packages to SSIS. FYI http://pragmaticworks.com/help/dtsxchange/scr/dtsxchange-dts-ssis-migrate-convert-upgrade-packages-activex-free-trial-tool.pdf for more information.
