Hi,
I have SQL Server Corporate Developer Edition Service Pack-3 installed on my windows server. I have to upgrade it to SQL Server 2005 Corporate Developer Edition Service Pack-3. How can I do this ? Can I just insert my CD-ROM of SQL Server 2005 Corporate Developer Edition and just upgrade it ? Please suggest and give some solutions on it.
Thanks in advance.

I am not sure that I understand your question completely. The service pack is NOT appiled to what on the CD.
1. Instal what is on the CD to a hard drive.
2. The service pack is the applied to the server on the hard drive
3. A further area for you to investigate is that SP-4 for SQL 2005 was released by Microsoft on December 17, 2010 and contains SP-3 as well as other updates/corrections etc. SP-4 may be downloaded from Microsoft and applied to your SQL Server 2005 located on your hard drive, instead of installing SP-3 and then SP-4 as two separate steps.
4. To facilitate additional installations of SQL 2005 Developer Edition on additional hard drives you may wish to create a backup copy of the service pack you elected to instal on a another CD
To facilitate moving your sQL 2000 databases to SQL 2005 server may I suggest downloading, the upgrade advisor and running it to identify any possible problems. The upgrade advisor is available at:
http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Search/en-US?query=sql%20server%202005%20upgrade%20advisor&ac=1
Now if your goal is to move your SQL Server 2000 databases to your new 2005 SQL Server and need assistance, please post your questions to a new forum for assistance.
