Hello
I want to upgrade my existing local unnamed instance of sql server to clustered installation. We're running SQL Server 2000 Enterprise Edition w/SP4 on Windows Server 2003 Enterprise Edition.
After running the installation program off the CD
I click Next, Local Computer and Next, upgrade and next, next,
Now on the "Existing installation" screen the option "Upgrade existing installation to a Clustered installation" is grayed out!
Any idea? Definitely same cd enterprise edition SQL 2K
Thanks all,
Zach

What is your SQL Server current version number? Check it from regsvr32.

of course not having your dataf iles on the shared resource might be one reason you can't join a cluster. Duh!!!!
Would have been nice to have had a window pop and yell at me. Next time I'll know to look
Cheers
