I had gotten an error when I tried updating my SQL server 2000 to 2005. It happened toward the beginning of the install when it asks for the SQL authentication and I entered sa and the sa password then I received a "Report Advisor Error -1" and it does not let you continue the upgrade. I did not find any white paper on this when I did a search. Any Ideas?

I recommend the Microsoft Upgrade Advisor and Scalability's Upgrade Assistant along with RML utilities for upgrades and migrations. Choose these to find what did or didn't get upgraded. I have been working at the MTC in Irving, TX over the past few months and find that these usually suffice for a smooth transition.
