I'm sure this question has been asked a thousand times. My company are fully paid on all licences for Windows 2000 Server and SQL 7.0 and are now interested in upgrading to SQL 2000. Is there an upgrade path/cost plan for our situation or it is a complete new buy and we override all licences for SQL 7.0?
Thanks in advance

I have no idea what kind of volumen of licensing you have with MS. If you are a small company you should call MS and see if they can work anything out. If a large you may have an Account Rep (or TAM) assigned to your company and get a volume discount or some other type of speical licensing. You jsut need to check.

Nice part is the licensing is the big part, doing the upgrade is very smooth.
