All,
I have a production box that I want to upgarde from SQL 2000 Standard Edition to SQL 2000 Enterprise Edition. Am I able to install Enterprise Edition over the top of Standard or do I need to :
Backup master and msdb
unattach all user dbs
Uninstall Standard Edition
Install Enterprise Edition
Restore master
Restore msdb
Any help would be appreciated.

U can run setup and it should take care of the upgrade on its own. U don't need to backup/restore. But its always recommended to back all the databases before any upgrade.
