Updating Tables on Multiple Servers

  • Hello,

I've been asked by a customer to develop a system which allows them to store the same product data table on two different SQL Servers. When an update is made on Server A it must be reflected on Server B and vice versa. I immediately thought of using distributed transactions especially as Server A can be offline while operators are merrily making updates on Server B. My question is can anyone point me in the direction of a good source of information on the t'internet. There seems a wealth of information on MSDTC and message queuing but I'm find it hard to find a kind off ' How To' website.

    Thanks in advance

  • I can't think of quick easy solution
