unsucessfull in Connecting from MS SQL Server2005 to Sybase 15.0.2

    Hello,

    I entered data-source, userid and password and when try 'Test Connection', I get following error message: -

    Test connection failed because of an error in initializing provider. unspecified error.

    In 'All' tab, I added server name, server port address, sybase server name.

    Can somebody help?

    and also can you ping sybase server from your sql server?
