We migrated the SQL 2000 Instance from one cluster to another cluster .We disabled the old instance and configured the instance on new cluster as it was before(Same IP address & Instance Name)I am planning to uninstall the old clustered SQL Instance.
Can i able to uninstall the instance whose cluster group was disabled?
What are the precautions do i need to take?
Do i need to disable the newinstance on new cluster and bring the oldinstance up on old cluster and do the uninstall?
Thanks In Advance for your help.

Do you mean new hardware? I'm a little confused as to what was installed where and what you want to uninstall and accomplish.
