Uninstall Reporting Services from production box???

    Hi,

    We are using Sql Server 2005 EE x64 on windows 2003 R2 EE x64. I had installed database engine and reporting servies. But, Now we are decided NOT TO have reporting services on the same production box. So I tried to uninstall only reporting Services from the installed one.

    control panel->add remove programs->sql server 2005 64-bit->remove

    Iam getting a radio button and after radio button I have database services, reporting services. If I choose that option, both will be uninsatlled.

    So my question is in Sql server 2005 EE, we can not uninstall reporting services keeping database engine?

    Instead of using the remove option select change. This will give you the option to remove RS. Of course you could also choose to simply disable the RS service.
