understanding role of reporting web services in ssrs

    I gone through ssrs architecture but would like to get understanding about actual function of webservice in reporting 2008.

    The webservice does everything 🙂

    For example:

    When you deploy reports, data sets, data sources et cetera to the server, you are calling webservice functions behind the scenes.
