Hello,
Do you have a test URL ?
My first idea is that some JPG pictures are recorded in CMYB insted of RGB. Internet explorer does not like JPG in CMYB mode.

The problem is I can see all the pictures so I can't help you if you don'y give me an URL for an image that you can't see like this one for instance :
http://www.riversongs.com/thgw/owly2.jpg
I don't want an URL of an HTML page, but of an image, a JPG file that you don't see.
And could you tell me your OS, what is your web browser (name and version) and if you're the only one in this case ?

So let's try to go ahead : can you see gif files like this one ?
http://www.google.fr/logos/olympics06_alpine.gif
Could you check in IE options that the option "display images" is enabled in the "Advanced Tab", section "Multimedia" ?
February 22, 2006 at 3:21 am
Yes I am able to see the above link.
And i checked the option, under the "Multimedia" section "Show image download place holders" is in 'off' mode.I made that to 'on' mode .Is the problem existing with this one?.I will check weather able to see the pictures or not and will let u know....ok
Any way thanks for the immediate response...thanks allot.
Thanks,

"Show image download place holders" should be OFF.
It's the option "Show pictures" just below that must be ON.
And if you can see the GIF file that I linked, the problem does not come from these options in IE...
So, let's try another thing : can't you see any JPG file in any web site or just in your personal web site ?
For instance, can you see this picture ?
http://socialdesignzine.aiap.it/sdz/images/Logo-Torino-2006.jpg
If you can't see the picture, can you tell me if you see a red cross or nothing at all.
Could you try to empty your internet cache folder ?
February 22, 2006 at 3:57 am
I am able to see the provided link by you.....
I made the option to off i.e "show image place holders" and except that all are in 'on' mode only.
How to empty the internet cache folder?
I am giving one more example to u that...In our general forum home, leftside one link(in my pc it is displaying one box with cross mark) is there na right? That one also not display.Just it is displaying cross mark in that box.I tried to see the properties but all are showing unavailable.......
Thanks,

Could you send me the url of your general forum home and tell me which link does display a cross mark ?
February 22, 2006 at 4:28 am
Ok I am sending the link of our sqlservercentral site general forum home page....
http://www.sqlservercentral.com/forums/messages.aspx?forumid=23
In this link, right side of the browser it is displaying one box with cross mark(above right side of the box)...
Thanks,
