Unable to run package in job

    Hi Guys,

    I am getting a weird message when im trying to edit the sql agent jobs,

    when i click edit in the steps page of job properties,

    i am having this pop up message says "Parser NULL(DTEParseMgd)"

    How ever i can edit the jobs from different servers when connecting this remotely

    Can any one help me out in this.

    Another problem i see is, when i open any SSIS Package i am unable to view that in "Execute Package Utility"

    This is a sql server 2005 64bit with sp2 and running on Windows server 2003 64bit with sp2.

    can anyone say is there any problem with the support files or anything?

    I don't know the answer to your first problem. Regarding the Execute Package Utility, can you specify what you expect to see but don't? Is it that you can't find the package that you want to execute?

    here is the thing, the package is not running when i run it through a sql agent job, the package is there and it run fines on another server(old server), it just not running.

    The first part of the problem was that on this server i cannot run the package in Execute package utility view but i can view and run the package in Visual.

    Do you get any kind of message when you try to execute the package on the server using the Execute Package utility?

    No messages, its running successful, only problem its not executing is when running through a sql agent job.

    Lookup proxy accounts and running SSIS jobs.
