Unable to get into SQLServer--I need a bit more time testing it on my PC, can I get more time??i

  • I am unable to use the version on my computer, a small

circle with a red dot appears, can I reenable my use??

  • What is the log file telling you on why you cannot start it?

  • If you right click on the icon with the red dot and select MSSQLServer - Start from the menu, what happens?

  • Logs are usually in /program files/microsoft sql server/msql/logs. check there or the Windows Event log for details on why it won't start.

  • If you cannot start server: it could be due to insufficient permissions.

  • The sql server evaluation period has expired according to the msql/log.

I would like a bit more time to test.

    How would I do it?

What command could I use to copy the msdb database and its objects(stored procedures and user defind functions also.)

    Thank you!
