Recently I ran into some issues with SQL merge replication between two databases. Subsequenty I removed the publisher and deleted the agents from server A.
I then deleted attempted to remove the subscriptions from server B, I cannot complete this task and the subscription status is showing as still running.
I have looked at the sp_dropmergesubscription command but cannot get the subscriptions on server B to delete.
Please can you offer some assistance.

this was because i think first u should remove the subscriptions clean it and then only drop the publishers and distributers
u are telling that u have run sp_drop mergesubscription command and no subscriptions are there. have u run this on the publisher database?? if not run there and after that run the sp_mergesubscription_cleanup command also. u have to run this also on publisher database.
