Unable to create shared data source in R2

    Greetings,

    I have two SSRS instances on two different servers, one being 2008 and the other 2008 R2. For some reason, I'm unable to create a shared data source in the R2 version despite following the same steps I use in 2008. I can't find anything on the msdn pages about a difference between the two versions. Has anyone else experienced this or better yet resolved it?

    Are you trying to do it in BIDS, the Report Manager, or in Report Builder 3.0?

    I'm doing it in BIDS.
