  Hi,

  Unable to connect to SQL 2005. Getting the below error message. All the protocols are enabled , except Named Pipes. Do not have the

  SA password to try to connect! Port is: 1433 (default)

  Error Message:

  ----------------

  Timeout expired. The timeout period elapsed prior to completion of the operation or the server is not responding. (Microsoft SQL Server, Error: -2)

  Any suggestion?

  kindly check the login whether it is locked or password expired (if it is domain account).
