I am wondering if I can get some help from the community?
I am connected to the network and trying to connect the DB server but it throws an error "Unable to connect". I can't even ping the server. Yet, my co-worker is able to connect. Any clue what this might be?

Do you have a (local) firewall that blockes all connections?
Are you and your co-worker on the same network?
Can you connect when you use your co-workers workstation?
Can your co-worker connect when he/she uses your workstation?
Is your account restricted in any way (like by policy, permissions, etc.)?

Resolved. 😀
Had some issues with the network. Network admin had to tweak something, but it is working fine and I am able to connect.
