Unable to connect o publisher

    I am getting following message on one of our production server.

    'Unable to connect to publisher'.

    Can anyone please let me know what should i have to look for?

    Its' urgent.

    abit to cryptic for my taste, i see its sql server 2008 and probably running some kind of replication.

    Is it the log reader agent that is throwing the error? Did you change the Account from which the SQL Server Agent was running? Does the Distributor and subscriber run on separate hardware?
