hi guys, i am pretty much new to reporting services. I see that reporting services is already installed in one of my development servers. We have a report database with the default name. When i go to the configuration all the items have a green check, however when i go to htpp:\localhost\ReportServer i get an error message "Unable to connect to remote server".
I checked Windows Services Panel
to verify that your "SQL Server Reporting Services" service is running and it is.
I checked IIS, the application pool seems to be stopped and start it and then it stops again. I checked the application under windows log but i don't see any errors/warning for this.
Any ideas why this is happening???????????.
Can someone please point me out of what else to check? This server has no internet at this time, could this be it? As of now i would like to deploy my reports locally only.

Hi! to answer my own problem, i changed the application pool to use the Default application pool instead of the reporting services application pool and voila! problems solved. 😀
