Truncate Table command and transactional replication?

  Hi,

  Can a truncate table command be fired on an article participating in transactional replication?

  I am sure it cannot be fired in merge replication as it works via triggers.

  But truncate is minimally logged. So what is its scope in the case of transactional replication?

  Not permitted. Not in 2000 or 2005 transactional replication
