I am trying to get sample SSIS packages from http://msftisprodsamples.codeplex.com/.
After downloading the .msi file, I double clicked it to install the package.
I get the following message, any one know how I can get these sample packages.
"This installation package is not supported by this processor type. Contact you product vendor."
I have SQLserver2008 on my laptop, runs on 32-bit processor
I was able to install the Adventureworks DB and DW DB without any problem.
Appreciate any help

Is the file that you downloaded called "AdventureWorks2008R2_RTM.exe"?

Or were you trying to download the SSIS Examples?
There is an X86 file (which is the link above) and there is an x64 file for download (which is the recommended download on the download page).

it worked, thanks so much,
I later went back to the site and saw there was a link to "View all downloads" and that has the x86 option.

Hi,
The sample package that I was interested in is the AWDataWarehouseRefresh, I thought that was the package that would refresh the Adventureworks2008DW database, by extracting data from the Adventureworks2008 database, the real ETL process, but the one from codeplex creates and loads the table from a bunch of .csv files.
Do you happen to know if there is a sample out there, that loads the AW data warehouse from the OLTP database.
Thanks,
ksun
