Transfer of spatial data from access to sql server 2005

    i have to migrate geomedia professional's spatial data from access to sql server 2005 , is it possible through DTS ? and what precautions should i take before migrating , will it be a successful transfer ? could anyone plz tell me the important things that are needed in that migration of spatial data to sql server 2005

    I've never worked with that product. Could you post some of the table structure? Can your client application work with MS SQL Server instead of MS Access?

    I'd suggest that for an MS Access database you try the upsizing wizard.

    look up SAFE FME and read up on the instructions on importing db mapping.
