Description: The network share "\\<our server name>\DATA" could not be found.
I get this error on a package we run when running it from SQL Server Agent. If I run the package manually I do not get this. HOWEVER, the package is designed as the local admin, and is run as the local admin. And I can browse to that directory from the machine when logged in as local admin.
Any ideas?
I get this whichever encryption method I use as well if that could be involved.

Hmmmm.....it was the network guy. Didn't set the correct permissions. Only had read permissiosn. Begs the question why SQL didn't report "Write permissions denied" rather than "Cannot see"!!!
