Hi ,
I had setup transactional replication on three servers A, B and C. Server A and B are Publishers and Server C is subscriber.
All of the three servers have same configuration.
Server A, B, C -- SQL Server 2008 r2 Ent 64 bit edition (RTM) on windows server 2008 r2 ent edition SP1 64 bit
I have two publications on server A and two publications on server B, four subscriptions on server C.The replication is continous. I mean no schedules.
I need to setup alerts on the replication. If the replication breaks down for any reason i need to get an alert stating that the replication is down.
Currently i don't have any alerts setup.
Can you please assist me in setting up the alerts.
Thank You,

if your talking about setting standard replication alert messages then use the built in replication alerts. These cover most of the usual error issues such as agent failure that kind of thing.

Hi moinudheen,
I had checked your post. The Jobs are working well.
Thank You very much for your help.
I did not test for the alert. i will wait and see if the alerts are fired when the replication breaks.
Thank You,
