After transactional replication is configured and the log reader and distribution agent jobs are scheduled to run daily every 20 minutes, is there a way by which we can change the replication to occur continously.

Yes, Don't set interval time set continous mode.

Change in Job schedule or in replication monitor it is straight forward, Do if from replication monitor it is easy, Check this out.
