  I am implementing Transactional replication in 2005.Do i need to turn on or off "NOT FOR REPLICATION" option for identity columns?

  You dont really need to change this as "Not for Replication" ensures that there is no new ID created and instead allows replication pass the ID value from publisher to subscriber, in fact this setting allows you to make sure that the data is in sych at both the ends.
