Transaction logging

    If I put a some tables into a FileGroup, would I be able to restrict the transaction logging at the ndf level?  There is one application that creates a fairly hefty log when it is queried, and we would never use its log to restore.  If I have to I may create another db and put the tables there, just wanted to avoid db creation if possible.  Any Ideas?

    1.As far as I know you cannot restrict transaction logging at ndf level.

    2.Why do u think querying would create a hefty transaction log?

    The programmer has created his own indexer for web site searching(perl ?). I have yet to monitor the logs, as we are in the process of consolidating and this info was passed on, he stated that on the previous box he had to double the size of the trans log.
